For this project, the main inspiration for Céleste's cover design is her song Both Sides Of The Moon. The singer uses the moon crescent in many of her album covers and visuals, portraying a deep connection to it.
Céleste is also admired by many for her unique fashion sense that recalls the 1960s and is inspired by The Supremes, Édith Piaf, and Shirley Bassey. I kept in mind Céleste's inspiration from the 60s while designing the chocolate wrapper for NYORORO.
NYORORO means smooth when translated to English.
For this project, I was heavily inspired by the visuals in Beyoncé, Shatta Wale, and Major Lazer – ALREADY (Official Video). Her outfits, scenes, and even the inspiration behind the music videos. I also looked at patterns that symbolize many things and have different meanings while designing the chocolate wrapper for NYORORO.
